Zetman (manga)

Zetman (manga): I would have to say this is a fairly well composed manga in a sense that they have really put in time to build the characters personality and morality together and to further them as the story goes on. This story is filled with drama, morals(slice of life), action, and is fairly explicit with graphical images.

The story is about a boy orphan named Jin Kanzaki and Kouga Amagi that fight monsters known as "players" that were created by Amagi corporation. While Jin also known as ZET has the ability to transform into a superhuman like being to fight off "players", Kouga has the technology to enable him to fight "players." with the two together they fight to save mankind from the "players" that were created by Kouga Amagi's grandfather's corporation the Amgai corporation. (irony)

I may not have summed it up properly to entice people into reading but that's for you to decide whether or not to invent time in to.

It is a well composed story because I had the urge to read it for about 2 days straight. I noticed that there was a lot of back story and they added extra pictures or blank pages a lot, not that I do not like it. I just thought that there could have been more content to each chapter rather than large images.

Pro: Solid story, character development, dramatic, action packed.
Con: manga felt like some content was dragged out too long.

Zero one (Manga) [Discontinued]

Zero one (Manga):This is a pretty good manga about a young poor boy that has to find something he is good because his father demanded it. The boy has interests in a new game called VR which is a virtual reality fighting game which is well known around the world, however the game is expensive and he has never tired the game until he finds a "Disk" that contained a custom avatar which allowed him to play VR.

The story was well crafted with the artwork and genre because of the mixture of 3D art and hand drawn art. The character and setting art is similar to Grantz while the 3D art is fairly new but was an interesting combination between the two. Although, this manga was discontinued I believe that this would of became a great manga of today because it shows the social change of video games and how it impacts today's E-sports. Other than the Art and impact it may or may not have had, it was funny, kind of touching, and had a bit of a slice of life.

This is a manga for those you can relate to games and would like to make a living playing games.

Immortal Regis

Immortal Regis

Commentary:
A very well composed manhwa, I highly recommend it if you like action, adventure, comedy, drama, hint of ecchi, shounen, and a hint of romance. This manhwa is part one of a sequel (the prequel), their second part is called Cavalier of the abyss, which will be commented in another post.

Immortal Regis is about a boy named Chae Jae Hyuk was caught in between a between mythical creatures, and one of them was a necromancer. Being caught in between the battle, unfortunately Jae Hyuk is revived as an undead. Now that he is an undead, Jae Hyuk can no longer live with humans and is off to the world called Chaos. His journey continues in the world of Chaos with hope of returning to the human world.

The art work is fairly well done, and used very well to bring out a unique style that i have not seen before. I would have to say their art is great for this fantasy, hint of goth, action and mixing with many different settings as you will see in the manga.

Overall, I highly recommend people to read this manga
